The living room is the heart of the home, and feeling at home there is a must. Bluebell designs and builds handcrafted media and bar furniture — bookshelves, sideboards, media units, media walls and home bars — for every kind of living space, from compact lounges to full entertainment rooms.

A media unit is the best way to store and display televisions, games consoles and personal sound systems, and ours are designed to become the focal point of the room rather than a box in the corner. Home bars are the same principle applied to entertaining: built-in bars, wine racks and backlit shelving designed around how you host, whether that is a quiet corner or a dedicated room.

Recent commissions show what is possible: an entertainment room with a pool table, projector screen and integrated sound system; a bespoke media area with an Evonic electric fire and mirrored, lit shelving; and a home bar with an illuminated geometric ceiling panel above the bar. Everything is designed in CAD, built by hand in our Altrincham factory and fitted by our own employed team, with our five-year guarantee on workmanship and furniture.

Like everything we make, media and bar furniture begins with a design consultation and 3D renders, is built by hand in our Altrincham factory, and is installed by our own employed fitters — one team accountable from the first drawing to the last hinge. Because the furniture is made to measure, it also grows with you: add shelving later, extend a run, or build a matching piece for another room, and it will sit naturally alongside the original.
